New to GCN? Welcome!

The Gay Christian Network is a nonprofit ministry serving Christians who happen to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, and those who care about them.

The Gay Christian Network Conference was a huge success!

Hundreds of Christians gathered in Nashville, Jan. 7-10, 2010, for worship, fellowship, speakers, and fun!

Watch this space for information on our next conference in Denver.

In the meantime, if you'd like a GCN event in your area, contact our office today to find out what we can set up for you!

Every Christian should see through their eyes.

GCN's new documentary Through My Eyes is now available!

It's a 45-minute look into the lives of dozens of young gay Christians from across the U.S. and Canada. Hear their stories as they discuss their struggle to reconcile their faith and sexuality, their attempts to become straight, and the responses from parents and other Christians.

See the trailer here, then get a copy for your family, church, class, or youth group!

Hear it first on GCN Radio!

GCN Radio is our weekly internet radio show for Christians who care about LGBT issues. All the archived shows are available for download on our website, and new shows can be automatically sent to you for free.

To listen, respond, and subscribe to our podcast, visit our GCN Radio page.

Have you heard Sandy's story?

Some Christian parents don't know what to say or do when they learn their child is gay. GCN helps them find the answers they need in a Christ-centered environment, and provides resources to their churches and communities to help strengthen their families.

Click here to learn some of the ways GCN is helping parents understand their gay children.

Is homosexuality an abomination?

Is homosexuality (or are gay people) "abomination" in God's eyes? How do both sides of the debate view the relevant Bible passages in Leviticus? Learn more about this and other questions in this informative video series with GCN's executive director, Justin Lee.

Gay Christian Answers is a GCN outreach project to help educate the community through YouTube and other video sharing sites. Check it out on our video page!

GCN Musical Spoof

GCN's 2007 conference featured a surprise parody musical, combining lots of laughs with a solid Christian message. "Straight to Heaven" tells the story of Cory, a young gay Christian struggling to find his place in the world.

Watch it now on our streaming video page, and share it with your friends!

Understanding "Side A" and "Side B"

Here at GCN, we have two types of gay Christians. On one side are those who are in gay relationships or hope to be someday. On the other side are those who view their same-sex attractions as a temptation, and strive to live celibate lives. We call these views Side A and Side B, and both are well-represented at GCN. For more information on these differing viewpoints, check out our Great Debate section, or ask some questions on our message board!

Register a free account to access special resources for Side A and Side B, including a Couples group, a Celibacy group, and a Waiting for Marriage group! (It's free and easy to register... what are you waiting for?)
