Now Hiring: PHP Web Developer
The Gay Christian Network (GCN) is seeking a full-time Web Developer to manage the overhaul and expansion of a PHP-driven social networking site in collaboration with a small team of talented people.
This is a one-year position with the potential to be extended to a multi-year or permanent position based on project success, mutual interest, and availability of long-term funding.
Whether you choose to work in our Raleigh office or telecommute from anywhere in the U.S., you will be managing the development of a reimagined version of GCN's social networking website. You will be the primary coder on the site, but you will also have access to a team of talented coding professionals who are volunteering time to work on this project. Your job will involve delegating tasks to the volunteers, reviewing their code for accuracy and security, and writing code of your own to help us create a fun, unique, and engaging web experience.
Not only will you have a fun work environment, working for computer-savvy people who like exploring new web technologies, but every day you'll be making an important difference in the world, providing vital support to many thousands of people worldwide.
WHO ARE WE?
