Welcome to the Prayer Team home page.
As you will most certainly have noticed if you have made it to this page, one of the strength of GCN is the support we bring to our brothers and sisters in need, through giving advice, reassuring and caring words, and of course through prayer.
The role of the prayer team is to offer this type of support (and more), both in the public prayer forum, by regularly checking the prayer requests, praying and offering support, and also by reaching out and providing support to members who send us private prayer requests.
The prayer team has access to the private prayer forum, where the private requests are received and posted.
We require that the prayer team members have been on GCN and posting actively for a minimum of six months, because it is important to have a team of well known, well trusted, and dedicated members, who we know will take confidentiality very seriously.
We also require that they have already shown their willingness to pray for others in the public prayer forum, and that they are willing to give their time to reach to those in need in addition to praying.
If you feel called to serving GCN in this way, please come and join us.
If you are new to GCN and cannot yet apply, please do join us in supporting our brothers and sisters in need in the public prayer forum for now, and come and join the monthly prayer chat on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
